I was lucky enough to spend a year with Stein, in a professional, but quickly personal way. He was an amazing father, and I absolutely love and adore Kirana, Aiden and Shane. I'm here for you three from now on. Dyan, whatever you need, come back to Bali as soon as you can. Sending love. I imagine he's playing golf with some cool angels...

Stein was a truly amazing soul, full of strength, devotion, and so much more. May we find solace in the memories we shared with Stein, and may his spirit continue to inspire us in our own lives. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dyan and her beloved children. We'll always be there for you, Dyan, when you need us.

Stein was the greatest of friends. We worked together but he always wanted to help me understand this new country. I liked him right away and was lucky to meet his wonderful wife Dyan and his children. He loved them all very deeply. I was welcomed by them and could not do enough for them. I will miss Stein's warmth, his dry humour and his selflessness very much. It is sad but I i knew him for just a while and he will always be in my thoughts. Vale Stein.
